What are Relf Optical’s hours?

Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

How soon can I get my new eyeglasses?

Our turnaround time to get a pair of glasses is typically 3-5 business days, and we make every effort to ensure that this time frame is met! If you need them sooner, we can check with our lab to see if your order can be expedited.

Are your glasses made on the premises?

While we do not have an in-house lab, we do use a local optical lab, Walman Optical, and they are fantastic! Not only are they located in Duluth, but they are also easy to work with and so friendly!

Can I use my existing frame and just put new lenses in? Yes.

Yes! You are always welcome to buy new lenses for your frame for your order! Our trained Opticians will inspect your frame to certify that it is in good working condition and there aren’t any noticeable issues before sending it to our lab for processing.

Are my new glasses under warranty?

Relf Optical does not charge for warranties. We adhere to and utilize the standard industry guidelines. Frame warranty: Frame manufacturers typically offer a 1-year warranty on manufacturer defects. Lenses warranty: Most lenses are warranted for one year also. There are some stipulations to this warranty so we take each case by case.

IMPORTANT: If your frame is not from us or if it is over 2 years old, please note that you are adding new lenses at your own risk! If anything happens to your frame, we would be unable to order parts for it and you’d have to start from scratch.

Can I return my glasses?

We want you to LOVE your glasses!!! We take pride in spending all the time with you that you need to ensure the frames and lenses you select best suit your visual needs and that you are making a comprehensive informed decision. Because your glasses are custom made for you, we are unable to refund or exchange your purchase. If you are unsure of your selection, please think twice.

Exception: This does not include lens remakes and/or doctor changes. If your lenses need to be changed, we are happy to do so within 30 days of purchase.

Will my insurance cover my glasses?

Unlike Relf EyeCare, Relf Optical is not contracted with any vision insurance plans, but we can certainly provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do accept HSA and FSA payment.
