FAQs

How many treatments do I need?

It depends on which treatment you are receiving. 

• Lumecca patients start with a series of 4 treatments spaced a few weeks apart, with maintenance once or twice a year. 
• Forma-I patients The number of treatments is typically 8 sessions, once weekly and may vary individually. Some patients may need 10 weekly sessions. 
• Morpheus8 patients generally, 3–6 sessions are needed for mild to moderate depth settings. It is not typical to perform more than five consecutive sessions; however, more sessions can be performed as per physician discretion.
• Botox patients typically have a session every 3 to 4 months. 

Is there downtime?

No. You can return to your regular routine immediately following treatment.

Do these treatments help dry eye?

Yes. Many aesthetic services we offer, like Forma-I and Lumecca IPL, were originally developed to treat chronic dry eye through inflammation reduction and meibomian gland stimulation.

Is this covered by insurance?

Aesthetic treatments are not covered by insurance and are billed as self-pay. However, many patients find they save long-term on drops and symptom management.
